Smith & Jones Addiction Consultants is the first, full-service, outpatient, 12-step based “Minnesota Model” addiction treatment center in the Netherlands.

About our founder
Smith & Jones Addiction Consultants was founded by Keith Bakker. Years ago, Keith suffered from alcoholism and chemical dependency and tried to get the help he needed through the “regular channels” available in The Netherlands at that time. However, the treatment that was offered was based on medication. Eventually, Keith went to the UK to get 12-step based addiction treatment, and has been drug and alcohol free ever since.

Treatment closer to home
Afterwards, Keith had a vision: offer people a choice in addiction treatment in The Netherlands. Now, thanks to Smith & Jones Addiction Consultants, such choices are available.
